Indoor Season 2018 comes to a close

Well, that's it for my 2018 indoor season! It's been full of highs and lows, but overall I’m super happy with how my indoor season went!

Well, that's it for my 2018 indoor season! It's been full of highs and lows, but overall I’m super happy with how my indoor season went!

To round it off with 2 medals at the National Championships in Sheffield this weekend was amazing! Jumping 6.23m in my final jump in the long jump to take the Gold under a lot of pressure was the highlight of my Championships. I’m delighted to finish my indoor jumping with 6.23m, although it is slightly annoying as I was only 2 centimetres off world Juniors qualifying standard of 6.25m, it puts me in a good place going into my next block of training ready for the outdoor season which I am really looking forward to!

To come away with an unexpected bronze medal in the 60m hurdles closed my season perfectly! I would like to say a massive thank you to my coach James Coney for helping me with all I have achieved indoors and my physio Jo Ponting for keeping me healthy and injury free!
